Math Team
The Henderson Middle School Math Team is coached to compete in the AMC 8 (American Math Competition 8) in November. Math Team consists of 10 students with a strong interest in math (preference is given to 7th & 8th graders).
Math Team provides an opportunity for students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in their future careers. Students will apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges covering middle school mathematics in a low-stress and friendly environment.
