• All staff received Spirit Wear at the Welcome Back Breakfast, the PTSA hosts.
  • “Welcome Cougars” yard sign for first day of school; “Happy New Year” yard sign for New Year; and another for the last two days of school
  • Buildings and Grounds Improvements to entry, 7/8th Grade courtyard; Also added 22 pole banners.
  • School Store consistently produces a significant amount of our funds, by serving our students and staff, during lunch periods. 
  • Supporting clubs and sports teams fundraisers
  • Purchased a canopy tent with School logo for all sports teams to use
  • Purchased a printer in the new school year for ESOL teachers
  • Provided paper to teachers, counselors, connections, media center and to all administrators.
  • Financial support for field trips
  • Provided Homecoming crowns, sashes, and handled presentation
  • Homecoming and St Patrick's Day dance support
  • Fund and plan events like the Cougar Carnival and HundredX
  • Book Fair: Made first profit ever and fulfilled all teacher's wish lists.
  • Winning Raffle prizes during HundredX that went to staff and community
  • Supported Career Day with all food and goodie bags to presenters
  • Spirit Wear to all new hires and Ignite students
  • PTSA put pressure on Dekalb county to get important maintenance done! And succeeded!
  • Provided 3 rising 6th grade Parent Tours
  • Provided 3 Teacher Conference Nights with varying refreshments and snacks/treats 
  • Handled Soup Luncheon and Cookie Swap
  • End-of-Year monetary gifts to all staff twice a year
  • Awards Ceremony - supplied the balloons and all awards and invitations
  • Cougar Carnival - was a HUGE success!
  • Uniforms for Boys Basketball - (partnered with the HMS Foundation)
  • 8th Grade Dance support
  • Purchased Movie licensing for the year
  • Spirit Night at Tucker Brewing was a big success
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Purchased water hoses and putty knives for custodians
  • Gifts for outgoing PTSA members and raffles at last meeting
  • Balloon arch and decorations for 8th grade Last Day Walk
