Robot rookies achieve 3rd place
The HMS CougarBots, competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge robotics league, finished 3rd out of 26 mostly high school teams in their league championship competition on January 25, just barely missing out on qualifying for the Georgia state tournament. Congratulations to the team for such an impressive achievement in their rookie season! The CougarBots members are HMS students Andrew Bitsko, Caeli Mistretta, Darby Marsh, Emory Kennett, Graham Hege, Jake Grant, Logan Kokoth, Nahom Berhe, Nathan Mowinski, Sam Hershner, and Will Petrich.
