Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem-solving program where team members work together at length to solve a predefined long-term problem—involving various elements of theatrical performance, construction, and design—and a short-term, spontaneous, think-creatively-on-the-spot element. Teams of 2–7, managed by parent volunteer coaches, usually meet weekly from around October through February to prepare for a regional competition, with possible advancement to state and world competitions.
If you or your student are interested, please email the contact below. Henderson Odyssey of the Mind can support as many student participants as we have parent volunteer coaches—we are happy to help new parent coaches get started!
