Cougar Basketball
Academic Bowl
The HMS Academic Bowl Team (coached by Mr Bell (ELA teacher, 7C)) finished second place in the DeKalb County PAGE Academic Bowl Tournament on Saturday, November 2nd in Tucker Middle School. The team will next compete in the PAGE Academic Bowl Regional Tournament in December. —Jin Choy, parent

Henderson Volleyball Team
Henderson hosted the Cougar Classic Tournament with five teams participating and our Cougars came in 1st place in Gold bracket (which is the highest). The girls would like to get a shout out for their hard work and fitting culmination to their 2019 season! —Sonya Williams, parent
Spirit Week Fun!
Football undefeated
HMS Cougars remain undefeated and go on to win our 2019 Homecoming game against Tucker Middle School. Stay tuned for playoff and championship game schedule. GO COUGARS! We wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. —Susan Edwards, parent
Ultimate champs!
The Henderson Ultimate Club participated in the Atlanta Flying Disc Club's Fall Middle School Tournament last weekend and won all three of their games! Congrats HMS Cougars! Special thanks to Coach Rocco, Coach Kinzey, and Coach Fred! —Keshawn Harry, parent
Football winners!
The HMS Cougars football team opened strong with a 36-6 win over Druid Hills Middle School. The HMS Cheer Squad also endured the heat to cheer the team to victory. A big thanks to all the HMS parents and students who came out to support the team in the season opener. Next up: HMS vs Stone Mountain, Adams Stadium @ 11:30 on August 31st. Go Cougars!
