Student Assignment Project (SAP) Public Comment and Engagement Session

Description

 

In Fall 2026, DCSD is continuing the Student Assignment Project (SAP) with a focus on the Lakeside, Cross Keys, Chamblee, Tucker, Dunwoody, and Druid Hills clusters. These clusters will be impacted by new and expanded schools in the District including Dresden Elementary, Cross Keys High School, Sequoyah Middle School, Sequoyah High School, Idlewood Elementary School and the addition of a new high school cluster in years 2027-29.  

Families, students, staff, and community members can now formally apply to represent their school and serve on a Community Advisory Team (CAT). CAT members will serve alongside district leaders to help shape recommendations before they reach the DCSD Board of Education.

Are you interested in joining the CAT for the Lakeside cluster? Complete this interest form by August 25th.

Engagement Session 1

Tuesday, September 1- Druid Hills, Lakeside, and Tucker Clusters (Location: Lakeside HS)

Thursday, September 3 - Chamblee, Dunwoody, Cross Keys Clusters (Location: Chamblee HS)

Engagement Session 2

Tuesday, September 22 – Druid Hills, Lakeside, and Tucker Clusters (Location: Tucker HS)

Thursday, September 24 – Chamblee, Dunwoody, Cross Keys Clusters (Location: Cross Keys HS)

Engagement Session 3

Tuesday, October 20 - Druid Hills, Lakeside, and Tucker Clusters (Location: Druid Hills MS)

Thursday, October 22 - Chamblee, Dunwoody, Cross Keys Clusters (Location: Dunwoody HS)
