HMS Student Council is hosting our annual cans and coins drive. This year's theme is to feather our cold turkey “Gobble Glee”.   We will be collecting cans, coins, and feather for our turkey from Nov 11 -  20.  HMS's annual cans and coins drive last year fed over 15 families twice, in November and again in December. For many of our students, a week out of school means they will not have an adequate amount of nutrition for breakfast and lunch. Please help our students meet our goal to feed 13 families in need this year.Students can purchase feathers for $1 in the morning and during all lunches.  Please send monetary donations, toiletries, and non-perishable items such as cereal, canned foods, and snacks. 

The team who collects the most cans and feathers will win a pizza party. In addition, the individual student who donates the most at one time or the one who donates the most during the drive will get an additional prize. Team 6A has been a regular winner.  Let's step it up everyone else!
