This year, our goal is to feather our cold turkey “Gobble Glee” as we come together to fight hunger and support our Henderson families in need.

All this week, 11/10 - 11/14, we’re collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items, toiletries, and coins to make a difference this holiday season. In addition to canned goods, we hope to provide gift cards to families to help with additional needs.

 How It Works: 

• Each grade level team will compete to collect the most “feathers” — representing donations.

• The team with the most feathers will win a pizza party! 

• Student Council representatives will collect and count donations during the 5th, 6th, or 7th period.

• Teams should turn in their weekly counts to Mrs. E. Brooks every Friday.

• The student who donates the most at one time or contributes the most overall will win a special prize! 

 Important Dates:

• Collection Period: Wednesday, November 5th – Friday, November 14th

• Items Picked Up: Friday, November 14th

• Family Pickup Day: Friday, November 21st

Last year, our Cans and Coins Drive helped feed 10 families — twice! Once in November and again in December. 

In December, we’ll continue spreading joy through our Family Wish List Program, where teams, parents, and teachers can “adopt” families and donate clothes, shoes, toys, toiletries, and gift cards.
